The Enrollment has closed for this year. We are grateful for your support and look forward to offering Masses and prayers for your intentions again next Lent.

Beginning Ash Wednesday, the Discalced Hermits of Our Lady of Mount Carmel will be offering 40 days of Masses, prayers, and vigils for all those enrolled this Lent. Follow the steps below to enroll yourself, family or loved ones:

CONSIDER OFFERING YOUR
SACRIFICE OF CHARITABLE ALMS

As a part of your Lenten almsgiving and tithing to the Church, consider making a charitable offering and sacrifice of alms to support our religious observance and many young vocations. While the donation is optional to enroll, our monastery depends, in religious poverty, upon the alms of the faithful.

STEP 2

ENROLL ONE OR MORE
INDIVIDUALS OR FAMILIES

Use the form in Step 2 to enroll individuals or families in the intention of the 40 Masses, 40 days of prayers and sacrifices offered by the Carmelite Hermits throughout this Lent. After submitting each enrollment, you will have the opportunity to submit additional names.

Step 1

Consider making a meritorious free-will offering of charitable alms to support our monastery and its many young vocations. Then proceed to Step 2 below.

Step 2

Enroll one or more individuals or families. You may submit as many enrollments as you would like. Then proceed to Step 3 below.

Receive email confirmation.

Check your email for confirmation of your enrollment. If you do not see a confirmation within a few minutes, please check your spam folder. If you chose to notify those you enrolled, an e-mail will be sent to them.

Yes, you may submit as many enrollments as you would like in Step 2. After submitting each enrollment you will have the opportunity to enroll additional individuals or families.

Yes. Even though the Masses begin on Ash Wednesday, there are still many remaining Masses, prayers and penances which will be offered throughout the Enrollment Period which runs the 40 days from Ash Wednesday until Holy Week. Your enrollments would certainly benefit from the remaining Masses and prayers.

A donation is not required for enrolling. You may simply submit your enrollments in Step 2 without making a free-will offering in Step 1 to support our monastery. However, in religious poverty, our community depends upon the alms of the faithful to support our religious observance and many young vocations. By freely giving alms to support the sacrifice of our lives as consecrated religious, you gain the merit of your personal sacrifice, and through your support, you share in the merit of our monastery’s religious observance and spiritual mission of prayer and intercession in the heart of the Mystical Body of Christ, the Church.
